Convert torrent files to zip or rar files?

Correction: A rar is a compressed file that can contain various other files. But a zip or any other file compression format is the same, whether it's rar or not.

On torrents, you can find everything, since you can put whatever you want in them: zip, rar, mp3, mp4, in short, everything that exists and which are also formats of compression and content.

And yet it has already been done... As such, a virus must execute, an mp3, as it is, is played and therefore does not execute, and so the risk is low. But there have been precedents that make it seem like it's a MPsomething file when it is not one, etc.

Anyway, you just need to do a little research to know that it's not so simple. :-)

I also forgot to mention that I have a MacBook.

The torrent files are on Bittorrent link hosting sites. And I only take music. (>_<)

The zip and rar files are tlc on blogs (so I don’t think they are hosts) that then lead us to Mediafire or Mega.

I also forgot to mention that there’s no problem downloading torrents WHEN I’m at my grandmother's, for example.
But at my place, it doesn’t work. (°_°)

Okay, so as I thought, you're rar and zip are hosting services, you already give 2 that aren't the best in my opinion, but logically reliable in terms of viruses.
As for torrents on your end, I don't see why it wouldn't work, especially for music since those files aren't that big.
