Hello,

here is my problem

I formatted my PC to install Windows XP Pro

so far no problem

then I want to start to go into the BIOS and change the boot order to boot from the CD
to install my system

and well, the problem is when the PC starts the only thing that appears is missing operating system

so I tried to boot from a floppy disk but floppy disks are so old that they don't work

in short, to simplify, when I press the start button the only thing that appears on the screen is missing operating system

there are no primary IDE 1 2 3 4 etc.... with the CPU speed etc....

I also removed the battery from my motherboard to reset the BIOS and well that doesn't change anything

I don't know what to do anymore

THANK YOU for your help everyone
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Sometimes it's as silly as that!

I received the same message and I was really scared since I had already lost a hard drive.

And actually, it was enough in my case not to leave a USB key when you reboot the computer.

I just saved myself an installation...
