Hello, it's normal that there isn't a "paging" button, it's an additional handset and not a base. It needs to be registered on a base, for example a Gigaset C475.

I am equipping my sister with wireless landline phone(s) and I am awaiting a purchase of C470 and C47H.
I own several different Siemens models, all compatible with each other. To register them, I went into the settings tools -- handset -- Register handset -- and the handset display indeed flashes. It depends on the phone, but I recommend holding the phone in hand while pressing this button to monitor when the signal has been accepted. Some then emit a sound. It is even possible to register the handset to multiple bases. You have to choose "Best base" in the handset menu, otherwise it will take the default base, which may not necessarily be the right choice.

To pair the handset to the base, go to
Options,
Settings,
Handset,
Then
Register Handset

Enter the pin code "0000" 4 zeros by default

Place the handset on the base of the first phone
(The one with the telephone socket)
And (the big secret) press the base button until you hear the beep

The handset stops flashing
Now it displays its internal number like "INT2"

To transfer the directory
(Great for making a backup in case of failure)

You need to go to
Directory then scroll all the way down to
Copy List
Choose the handset
Then wait for the copy to finish
