I read about the scams from Jean Pierre Rocle. I received the same email as someone on the forum for the Audi A3, except that for me it's for a 206, with the same mileage and the same options.

      Indeed, under the terms of the lottery, winners must personally collect their checks here in Abidjan; if you are unable to come, my office, as your representative and guarantor, will take care of everything necessary to recover your check and send it to you. However, in this case, the sending fees for the check will be your responsibility.

      I contacted a lawyer to file a civil suit in court. She advised me to ask everyone on this forum who has dealt with this benign network or Jean Pierre Rocle or any other name to file a complaint as well, even if you haven't lost money.

        I had Jean Pierre Dubus supposedly telling me I won the lottery in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. I almost got scammed; luckily, the internet exists to check your forum. Thank you.

      Hello, I am once again reviewing your comments about this scam. I am Jean Pierre Rocle, a VW AUDI dealer in St Etienne. I have been suffering from these forums regarding these scams for several years. I would like to take the time today to clarify that I am a victim, like many others, of identity theft... I feel powerless in this situation! I have never been to Benin, and I have never sold a car in that country, nor have I scammed anyone. I had the opportunity to discuss this situation with my lawyer and with the gendarmerie in my town. No solution has been proposed for me to face this problem except to change my name!!     I was also dealing for a black Peugeot 206 like you. He said he was transferred to Benin to build railways...
    He asked me for 2500 euros which I paid via Western Union, but I never received the car.
    Have you filed a complaint against him?

    Good evening everyone, I almost fell for it. I saw the ad on autoscout for an Audi Q7 at €6,500, but finding the price extremely low, I asked him what was going on. Here is his reply email:

    I just received your response regarding the sale of my Audi Q7. Thank you.
    I am Mr. Jean Pierre RICHARD of French nationality and I am a civil engineering engineer. I have just won a road project in francophone Africa, more precisely in Benin, and I have been here for two weeks.
    My Audi Q7 is in perfect working condition and in compliance, as you can see from these photos. If I decided to sell it at this price, it is because I just got a new car here in Benin, as the customs fees are high here. I was planning to transport the Audi Q7 here to Benin for my errands, but after inquiring about the customs fees here and finding them expensive, I canceled its transport from France to Benin.
    So I left the Audi Q7 with a transporter who is currently in France in Lille. It is the transporter who is currently managing the sale of the Audi Q7 and has all the vehicle documents.

    By typing "Jean-Pierre RICHARD Benin" into Google, I came across this forum; it's not JP Rocle, but he is in railways... in Benin........ Given the price, I wouldn't have taken it anyway, an AUDI Q7 at that price smells like a scam from a mile away, thank you all the same.

    Hello, I think we are dealing with the same person. I posted the ad on the market saying that due to a donation, we are selling our Audi Q7 for 1,500 euros and 500 euros in fees.
