Having installed Windows XP, I can no longer install Tomb Raider. This game worked just fine under Windows 98.
What should I do?
Thank you for your responses.

Hi
to remedy your problem you can use the compatibility manager you will find it in the accessories menu and you answer the questions that are asked.... -
Hello,
XP allows you to run programs in compatibility mode when necessary; to do this, right-click on the program in question and select the compatibility mode you want.
Note that Tomb Raider 4 works very well this way with Windows XP.
See you,

Hi! I also have XP and the problem is that, even after installing the game (TR4), when I click on "play" it tells me that there was a problem, etc., with "send error report", "don't send"... anyway, and I don't really understand when you say that I need to right-click to choose the program... where do you do that? :s

I can't play or even launch the game configuration from the title screen, even though I have Windows XP! If I try to start the game, for example, an error message appears (a Microsoft window stating "tomb4.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We apologize for the inconvenience.").
What should I do? Thank you in advance!! -
Which Tomb Raider?
The first one is not compatible, go on Google and you'll find some patches.
The second one works great and even has better graphics.
The third one works really well.
The fourth one needs a patch that Google will help you find. -

Tomb Raider is a lousy game. It's very likely that it's not compatible with XP like many other games.
Solution: either roll back to 98 or set up a multiboot system with 98 and XP
if you kept XP and your lame game. -
