Bootable Ghost on USB?

Here you go, thanks to you I managed to make my USB key bootable. However, another problem has arisen: I cannot start the autorun from DOS to launch Ghost. Thank you for your help, I hope you can assist me with this last issue.

After taking a look at the DOS commands and applying them, I received a message saying that the autorun file could not be opened under DOS.

You first need to look at the command in the autorun of the GHOST CD.
To do this, open Windows Explorer. Right-click on autorun.inf
Click on Open with, then on Notepad
In autorun.inf, look for the line that starts with: OPEN=
For example:
OPEN=MYDIRECTORY\GHOST.EXE
You need to copy what follows OPEN=
(in the above example MYDIRECTORY\GHOST.EXE)
IF GHOST.EXE is followed by parameters, you also need to copy the parameters (select GHOST.EXE and the following parameters with the mouse and click on Edit Copy from Windows Explorer).
Open a file named AUTOEXEC.BAT on the USB drive (right-click, open with, Notepad).
In Notepad:
At the end of the AUTOEXEC.BAT commands, click, press the Enter key to create a new line, and click Edit Paste.
The line:
MYDIRECTORY\GHOST.EXE
is added to AUTOEXEC.BAT.
Click on File, Save.
This may work.

Wah, thanks! It would be very interesting, if the command in Autorun.inf wasn't precisely the command Autorun.exe, which cannot be opened under DOS. Does anyone have another idea? Well... one that works :/

I have exactly the same problem. I managed to create a bootable USB drive under DOS using the HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool (with the Create a DOS startup disk option and linking it to a DOS boot file found here http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm, I used the Winimage version).
I then transferred the files from the CD to the USB drive and renamed them as indicated in the fourth comment on this page:

My USB drive boots well under DOS and I get to C:, but I can't launch Ghost 9. I don't know if it can be launched from DOS. If anyone manages to do it, I would greatly appreciate it. It's urgent because I'm stuck with my netbook. Thank you. Franck.
