The local engine is not accessible by the MicroKernel router.
Technical Information:
Available Disk Space C:\ >19 GB
Btrieve version used: 8.60 - N
Installed Btrieve Components Version:

Wbtrcall.dll 8.60.192.30 C:\PVSW\bin\Wbtrcall.dll "
That's all...
Thank you in advance for your help, see you soon.

Hello,
The problem is with the database engine.
You need to go to the EBP website to download Pervasive.SQL v8.6 (the version offered by EBP has been updated for Vista compatibility).
This should allow you to work with older versions.

No, sorry,
I haven't heard back yet, and I haven't found the solution. For now, it will open after several attempts, but I don't know if it will work like that for long... If I find the solution, I'll send it to you.

Hello,
I couldn't find the solution.
I opened a new folder and I made a journal entry to take over the RAN.

I just encountered the same issue as you with EBP Gestion commerciale and EBP Compta. Do you have a solution?
Thank you

Hello,
I resolved my opening issue thanks to a post from Cyrilou on the forum "EBP won't open anymore".
Thank you, Cyrilou.
Here's what I did:
Explore the EBP installation CD, open \products\tools\Pervasive V8 Wge and run the setup file.
That should do the trick.
Since I did that, I haven't had any more problems.
Have a great day.

I don't know if you found the solution, but after a month and a half of searching, I finally solved my problem.
I have the accounting and billing version 2007, but it wouldn't install on Vista. You need to go to the EBP website and download the 2006, 2007 range or others depending on your needs. You need to have your license number and key.
Start the installation on your computer. At a certain point, a message like "The database..." will appear. Quit the installation, then go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services. In the EBP Pervasive line, the status is starting. Right-click and Stop.
Restart the installation and then reboot the computer. It worked for me. I hope it works for you too.
Good luck.
