Wi-Fi problem on my PS3

Hello, I have a problem with my PS3 connecting to Wi-Fi. When I try the Easy configuration, it stays stuck on “checking network configuration” for more than 30 minutes. If I switch to Wireless Custom, the scan says “no access point detected” and manual entry doesn’t work either. I can’t connect it via Ethernet cable and it always asks me to connect with a cable. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance.
