Hello!
I have the unfortunate habit (and it's a shame!) of "visiting" my computer and the programs... as a result: I no longer have the Office pack, error 1706! ...although updates are still happening.... When I want to open a program, a window indicates "please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage.... then, in another window: The component you are trying to use is located on a network resource that is not available.... please enter another path to a folder containing the installation package `PROPLUS.MSI' in the box below!!!!??????????
I'm afraid I may have "killed" some components!!!.. (same with Word: it can't find Word components...etc)
problem: I no longer have the installation discs... due to moving....
I can't find anything on the Windows site..
I installed Open Office to help me out but I want to convert doc files to doxs and I can't do that!!!
Am I going to have to buy a new installation kit or will a brilliant genius save me by indicating a few little tricks????
Is it serious, doctor????
Thank you for your help!!

Hello,
don't worry, it happens to everyone to snoop a little...too much lol
for your problem, unfortunately, I think only the installation CD can save you. Since it's a paid software, you won't be able to download it for free on the internet without paying for it...don't you know anyone who has the same CD as you among your acquaintances??
anyway, I don't see any other solutions :s
