LG TV: move channels? Solved

Hello,
I've just bought an LG LCD TV 32LB75 (82cm). I'm very happy with it, but I have a little problem: this TV has built-in digital terrestrial television, so I performed a channel search and found them all, but I can't move the channels to arrange them in the order I want (TF1, France 2, France 3...). It sorts them by channel and I can't move them, whether after an automatic or manual search. The manual says to use the yellow button on the remote, but it doesn't work at all. If someone could help me, that would be really nice... Thank you

For LG TVs, you can set them up however you want, but you must not have checked "automatic numbering during search." So the only solution is to redo a scan and remember to uncheck the option.

Simply go to the MENU
then CONFIG
then AUTO SEARCH.
uncheck "AUTOMATIC NUMBERING"
then START
Once the search is done, go to:
CONFIG
then CHANNEL EDITING
then simply select the channel you want to move by highlighting it and pressing the green MOVE button.
Press the green button again to deselect the channel once the desired position is chosen.
THERE YOU GO.

You need to go to the "options" menu and select FRANCE in the "country" section, then redo an automatic channel search.
They will be automatically reclassified starting from 1 (TF1), 2 (FR2), 3 (FR3), 4 (Canalplus), etc....
I suspect the providers (like Darty, Ubaldi, etc.) who install the TV for the customer leave a country
other than France set as default. This means that during the next channel search (which is sometimes necessary when certain channels are changed), the customer ends up with TF1 on 810, FR2 on 804, etc., really convenient for flipping through channels! You never know, this could be an opportunity to charge for an intervention for the customer who is not keen on fiddling with the menus...

You need to start by selecting the automatic dynamic ranking of channels, or the "LCN" function.

Indeed, by default the country was set to UK. I set it to "France," I launched a new channel search and they all fell into place, it worked very well. Thank you very much a320.

Happy New Year
On LG M237WDP, I can arrange the channels in the order I want in analog mode using the yellow button,
but in DTT it's impossible for me to put the SD DTT channels in my preferred order, and also the 4 HD channels (tf1HD-france2HD-M6HD-ARTEHD) at the top of the list.

Hello,

Issue: Return to default numbering.

LG TV 50LB561V, reception via cable (Telenet in Belgium, without decoder).
I change the numbering of the available channels as I wish and skip those that are coded.

Let's say (I'm simplifying) that VRT1 is on 2 and I put it on 1
VRT2 on 4 and I put it on 2
FR3 on 142 and I put it on 3
Arte on 145 and I put it on 4
TV5 on 153 and I put it on 5
and I skip everything else

So I have the channels numbered 1 2 3 4 5

However, from time to time (on average once a month, but not systematically), without warning, the TV returns to the original numbering, only for the digital channels! (there are still some analog channels)
On the other hand, the "skipped" channels remain skipped.

So I find my 5 digital channels at 2, 4, 142, 145 and 153, the rest being skipped...

Is it possible that the provider sends a signal forcing the default numbering (in case of change) or is it a memory failure (which would be the only issue, for the rest this TV works wonderfully...)?
