Printer that turns on by itself at night!

Hello,
I have a small problem that may seem trivial, but it’s actually quite bothersome.
This is the third consecutive time that in the middle of the night my printer (Brother, DCP-330C) which I installed about a month ago, turns on by itself, something it had never done before. It’s pretty strange especially since my PC is off (USB unplugged the second night) and the printer's screen is also off. It’s like it’s resetting itself. I’ve never let it go on until the end because of the noise, I just cut the power. It doesn’t have infrared or wifi.
What do you think this is due to?
How can I fix it?
Thank you in advance for your help!!
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Good evening, could someone tell me how a printer can turn on by itself? Because tonight mine just did it for the third time and on top of that, it’s not even plugged into the power outlet...!! I'm at my wit's end right now and the fact that it turns on by itself more than once doesn't reassure me at all.... Plus, I got an incoming call on my landline from a number that is none other than my own calling number.... Does anyone know who could help me....?? Thank you.

To finish, I would like to point out that the building where I live has three entrances, and that at my place, like at other tenants' homes, most TVs turn on during the night...!!! I am researching what exactly was at this location before the construction of this building...

So I’m going to answer not the question because I have the same problem
Actually, I don’t turn my printer off, so it’s on standby and sometimes at night it makes noise when it cleans the heads, it’s very loud
So apart from turning it off completely, I would like to have an answer just like Oueli, thank you

Same problem last night. The printer (HP Envy 7200 series 2) bought a month ago turned

on by itself. I immediately turned it off and wondered why such a thing could happen.

Mystery...! In the morning, I noticed that there had been a power outage (clocks of

oven and hi-fi system stopped). So I make the connection and suppose that the restoration of power triggered the printer to turn on... Strange! ...But no Poltergeist in sight...!!
