I see that there are a number of people looking for software, and there is no shortage of it, but generally it's paid and quite expensive. For documentation, there are some really interesting sites where you can get hands-on experience by learning the different manipulations and the symptoms of a breakdown...

I'm also Algerian, and I started in refrigeration and air conditioning in Algeria. It's true that it's a "virgin" and promising market, but you need to know some GOOD people to get the best projects. The managers prefer to subcontract with foreign companies like ELYO, Dalkia, Faceo for multi-technical work to secure good kickbacks :)

Software is great, but it doesn't do everything; to be able to use software correctly, you first need to know how to do calculations on a calculator and, most importantly, fully understand what you're doing with a good grasp of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics. Knowing the basics is absolutely essential; every good refrigeration technician must know these fundamentals. I know the Maghreb well; I've been to Algeria and Morocco myself, and I noticed one thing: there is a significant lack of maintenance for refrigeration, whether it's domestic, commercial, industrial, or medical. Everyone wants to work in installation, but very few focus on maintenance. In this field, you have an enormous potential—I mean enormous—but maintenance is not installation; it is a specialty that is very little taught for refrigeration. In addition to having an in-depth knowledge of refrigeration in all its forms, you also need to be a good mechanic to be able to rebuild a compressor of all types. Very few current refrigeration technicians are capable of accurately rebuilding a twelve-cylinder compressor, even in our country, and it's quite regrettable. However, everyone knows how to use software, but a compressor cannot be rebuilt with software. Having taught industrial and commercial refrigeration for seven years in France and ten years in Africa, I believe I can say this. You have the chance to earn a good living in a country where everything is to be done in this field, so don't hesitate.
