Free creation of a team directory

There is an online software called Clicface that is intended for companies (and associations as well, I think) and offers photo directories, organizational charts, and also suggestion boxes: https://www.clicface.fr/

So it seems to exist :)

But it is paid, though...

There is also the software Trombinoscope where everything is done in 3 clicks. Little freedom for the layout, but easy to use and free:

XnView is a very good software for manipulating images but not for creating class photos.

XnView only allows you to create contact sheets with photos in the order they are stored in your directory. You cannot sort photos based on criteria.
For example, if in one of my directories, I have photos of students from all my classes in alphabetical order by name, I could only create one class photo with XnView. Unless I rename all my image files each time, XnView will not allow me to create class photos for my students by class, or for those who are external, or boarders, or those who only take English or German, ....

Moreover, if a person's photo is not present in the directory, it will not appear on the contact sheet ... unless you create an empty file. This is possible but complicates creation.

Finally, XnView does not allow you to create class photos in PDF format, which is indeed very practical for wide and quick distribution.

In short, XnView is excellent software for image processing, but it is not specifically dedicated to the simple and quick creation and distribution of class photos.

I have been using TROMBI for a year and it is very user-friendly and easy to use. As for its cost, it is so minimal: 10 liters of diesel!!
