Hello,
This topic is created to allow comparison of cars in the game Need For Speed ProStreet, and to help players choose their cars for each category of races. If you would like to participate in this topic, please post your cars for each of the following categories, like this:
Grip: Nissan 240sx (S13) - Nissan GT-R Proto - BMW M3 E92 - Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) - Lancer Evolution - BMW M3 (E46) - Nissan GT-R (R35) - Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 - Porsche 911 turbo - Lancer Evolution IX - Dodge Viper SRT10.
Sprint: Ford Mustang GT - Dodge Charger R/T.
Drift: Mazda RX-7 - Pontiac GTO.
Maxi Challenge: Zonda F - BMW M3 (E46) - Pontiac GTO (1965).
Here are the categories with my cars. I want to say that the Porsche 911 turbo is very easy to handle (I frequently use it for grip), you won't risk going off the road with this gem. Another word about the Zonda F in the maxi challenge, it has a top speed of over 400 km/h with perfect handling. (This is very advantageous for difficult turns). And one last word about the Charger R/T, at 800 m, I can reach 400 km/h on two wheels, great on the straight line; however, it is less ideal for the 400 m where everything relies on acceleration (this car is really easy to "burn"), it has superb acceleration but that prevents it from going perfectly straight. In the 400 m where one has to give it all, it risks going on two wheels and landing in the ditch just after, so, in conclusion, one must go slow.
That'll be all from me, I look forward to your responses.

Hello,
GRip: Ford GT (it's a beast)
Drift: 240SX / Plymouth Cuba /
Sprint: Dodge Charger RT / Camaro Proto
Maxi challenge: 911 GT2 (but I'm struggling hard, I'm waiting to come across a free car pass to try the Zonda)
Ford GT (that I haven't finished tuning to try it in Maxi challenge)

For the rear wheel competition, I recommend 2 tires
the 2007 Shelby GT500
the Camaro SS (I ran 408m with it)
at the start, you engage first gear and hit the nitro
or if your car is still well elevated, you shift into first and then second and then you send the NOS
normally, you will go over 300m or even 400m or more because sometimes it’s still elevated at the finish
good luck with your rear wheels
PS: do you want me to give you some settings?

I highly recommend the Dodge Charger for sprints as well as for two-wheel competitions. It’s incredibly powerful once modified with all the level 4 kits; it’s a real bomb, with excellent acceleration—nothing better. Try it out. My Dodge Charger, with all the level 4 upgrades and adjustments, hits 1154 hp.
Hi, I have an RX-7 for drifting (that's the one from the king), a Porsche 911 Turbo for maximum challenge, a Nissan GT-R R35 for grip, and for sprinting, a Camaro SS, and I swear that's the best one for sprinting (personally, I do 5.71 in the 400m). The thing is to boost everything to level 4 and make the following adjustments: for the suspension, set the first 9 all the way to the left, the 10th all the way to the right, and the 11th all the way to the left. For the engine, set everything all the way to the right. And for the transmission, set the 5th to -2 and the 6th to +1, and that's it.
PS: especially don't put any visual upgrades except for the seat and the roll bars.

Hello,
Thank you for your response. You say you don't exceed 362 km/h?! My latest top speed was over 419 km/h. It's true that the Nissan Skyline GTR R35 isn't very powerful: no matter how flawlessly I drive, the other Skyline from RYO's team is always ahead; its advantage is its acceleration. So, I kept this Skyline GTR R35, but I bought and boosted a Porsche 911 Turbo with all-wheel drive. The Skyline, being more powerful than these two cars, is unfortunately almost uncontrollable, and that's what disappointed me. Otherwise, the Porsche is about on par with the Skyline because its advantage is that it's glued to the road (I can't even manage to drift) and it corners very well, compared to the Lamborghini, which is boring (you turn too early in the ditch, same for the opposite).
That's my opinion; let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.

For grip, I have a Nissan GT-R (R35) that runs really well, but even fully tuned, it can't exceed 331 km/h (except with nitro), and a RX-7 that hits 370 km/h! For drifting, I have a RX-8, and I'm planning to buy a Silvia (S15) sprint. I have a SS that goes up to about 310 km/h max. Challenge: I have a Skyline GT-R (R34) that goes up to 362 km/h; it blows your mind!!!!!!!!!
Catch you later, racers!

For the Grip, R35, with 4-wheel drive and steering, great maneuverability and good acceleration. Average top speed but sufficient. No gearbox or chassis adjustments. 330 km/h at cruising speed.
For drift, S15
For sprint, GTO, 415 km/h maximum speed over 400 meters
For challenges, Zonda, great stability and good maneuverability, limiter at 403 km/h with no gearbox adjustments.

Hello everyone!
It seems that this Skyline GTR R35 has a good reputation. For sprints, it remains among the "muscle" cars. Drift...no doubt always Japanese cars. And for the ultimate challenges, exotic cars are the way to go.
Feel free to add your opinion.

Hi,
How would you describe the Ford GT in terms of its handling and maneuverability?
I'm asking this because since I got the game, I've only tried cars with all-wheel drive that are very maneuverable. But the Ford GT is a rear-wheel drive car, which leaves me doubtful about its behavior. But I'll stop here because maybe I'm wrong about it.
Thanks in advance for your response

Re, and thank you for your response, Dylan. What can you say about your cars? Are you happy using them?
Hi there sparco24, for the Ford GT, I think it depends on the mode you have it in:
max grip sprint or drift?
I haven't tested it, but rear-wheel drives have good handling at high speeds (adding spoilers, kits, and hoods is necessary for the behavior and road holding, I think). I think it would do well in max grip since I was disappointed by rear-wheel drives in grip mode, while in max grip, sprint, and drift, I have rear-wheel drives.
I believe that the best cars for grip are all-wheel drives.
But it's up to you to decide (and to have fun) ;)
Have a good evening/day and don't forget (pleasure comes first)!

Hi Dylan
I completely agree with you. Four-wheel drives for GRIP and rear-wheel drives for MAXI DEFI. However, I was very disappointed with one car... A car that I think many people admire... It's the Nissan Skyline GTR R34, which is indeed a four-wheel drive but drives and has the power of a rear-wheel drive car. For me, it's unpleasant to drive, and in terms of handling on the road, it's like having ice under the tires. Finally, if it doesn't bother you, could you also tell me a little about the Subaru Impreza WRX?
Thank you in advance.
See you later.

For grip, the Lancer Evolution, like Ryo's, I can tell you it performs well; I do almost one more lap than others.
At the beginning, before starting the race, they mention the horsepower; there aren't any more than mine, actually, no.
GRIP: Lancer Evolution
SPRINT: Ford GT500
MAXIMUM CHALLENGE: Yellow Corvette Z06
DRIFT: RX-7
Can you tell me which car is needed for the rear wheels contest?

OK thanks for your answers Dylan.
For the question about "boullette" I would suggest "muscle cars" (the old American cars with a lot of horsepower). Be careful not to get all-wheel drives or front-wheel drives because rear-wheel is the way to go :)

For me, the best car for drifting is the Toyota AE86; it has perfect control. It might not be very fast, but speed isn't really important for drifting anyway, so there you go, try it and you'll see.
Hey everyone
Here are my cars by category
GRIP and MAXI DEFI Pagani Zonda, it sticks to the road all the time and it accelerates like crazy!!!
Ford GT, it's not bad either for grip, it performs well
DRIFT Nissan 350Z, it's not bad but I haven't really tried other cars
SPRINT Toyota Supra 1041 hp, 6.90s in the 400m, 10.90s in the 800m, and 373mm rear wheel
no one talks about it on the forum, but the performance speaks for itself!!

for my part I use a Zonda for the sprint 5.80 at 400m
9.45 at 800m
and 1150 hp
RX.7 for drifting 788 hp
F1 for grip
Porsche for segment racing, there’s nothing better
GT3 for the maximum challenge of the atomic ball (Porsche)
and finally a Camaro SS that I'm fine-tuning because 5.20 at 400m and 9.01 that I saw the day before yesterday, so let's just say THIS IS CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY GOOD SHIT

Hi morgan_2008,
For the rear-wheel drive courses, I recommend muscle cars, those big American cars with around 400 hp in stock mode. They are affordable and ideal for sprints, including rear-wheel drive races. To avoid buying just any cars for this rear-wheel drive competition, I'll tell you not to take front-wheel drives or all-wheel drives, because it's impossible to do two-wheel drives with them (or maybe in reverse for front-wheel drives ;)). And honestly, the 36% progress in Career mode is not bad at all (I've been there myself). I hope I answered your question.
