Help me get the dora doll to work

Hello,

I have a problem. I bought the "Dora Knows Your Name" doll for Christmas for my 2-year-old daughter. The issue is that when I put the installation CD in to start recording the information for my daughter,
the program crashes and tells me that there was a system problem. This happens with most things I want to install, and I have the new WINDOWS VISTA
Does anyone know of a driver or anything that can help me make my daughter happy for Christmas?

      I can send you a copy of the CD by email as an attachment if that works, because I bought it for my little one for Christmas.

      My name is Régine.
      I just bought the doll Dora Knows Your Name for my daughter. So happy, but disappointed: the CD is missing.
      I went back to the store and they couldn’t give me another one because there were no CDs in the boxes.
      Frustrated, but I kept the doll for my little one.
      Would it be possible, please, to send me a copy by email?
      I thank you from the bottom of my heart for my daughter.

      Salut, moi aussi je l'ai acheté, mais le problème, c'est que je n'ai pas eu le logiciel pour le faire fonctionner.
      Serait-il possible que tu m'en envoies aussi une copie du CD d'installation ? Je te remercie infiniment, Angélique.

    I had the same issue
    I put in the CD, plugged in the DORA doll with the USB key and nothing

    I WENT TO THE COMPUTER TAB
    the one where your hard drive is located
    you should have an icon with DORA, right-click and choose open
    4 DORA windows will open, choose one that says DORA KNOWS YOUR NAME, right-click and select run as administrator
    a window will open asking for your permission, say yes and don't forget to check install on the desktop

    and then it's your turn to play, you'll be able to configure it

    after when you want to make changes to the doll, go directly to your desktop icon, but to open it, right-click
    run as administrator

    Greetings, the thing is called Windows XP SP2 :) Down with Vista and its incompatibilities.

    Sometimes you can try running the programs in 98 compatibility mode...

    Bonjour, moi je l'ai acheté aussi, mais je n'arrivais pas à installer le CD car incompatible avec Vista. Par contre, je peux essayer de t'envoyer la copie de mon CD par mail ? En réponse à Hélène.

    Click right on the program icon, go to properties, and then to the compatibility tab, check the first box to make it compatible with Vista, etc.

    Hello, I also have the Dora doll and the CD works very well, even on Vista. The only problem is that I lost the CD.
    Unfortunately, I have my PC on XP but still don't have software for my doll.
    Could you help me?

    Run "Dora knows your name" as administrator and everything is fine under VISTA & 7.
