Likewise, I launch the game after the demo without any issues
I choose a career or match option
the screen goes black and I return to my PC desktop with an error message regarding the punkbuster software if installed, and none if I install the game without this option.
The repair menu does nothing
this bug appeared after I opened this game for the third time to play

I have the same problem, the game is not very good and I'm disappointed to have bought it without being able to play :( !!!!

If anyone has a solution, I’m interested. I don’t get any error messages; I just start my career, the clip plays with the presentation, then the loading starts and nothing happens, it gets stuck at that point, it's really suspicious !!!! I'm going to try downloading the patch and we'll see...

Hello, I really didn't know where to post this, but it's about NFS ProStreet!!! So here's my big problem :s The game runs very well, the graphics quality is excellent on my end!!! But my issue is that the car 'always' turns to the right, and if I want to turn left, it goes straight, even with all the controls properly set. I already had this problem in the demo.
Can the patch fix this kind of issue?

Oh yes, I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you that even in the game menu it turns to the right by itself! I had already experienced this with another game, but it went away afterwards, not here :s

I see I'm not alone in this mess! I've tried everything but nothing works! Alas! I'm studying computer science and I always look on this forum for problems to solve and I help too, but here I must admit I have no idea! Yet I have a good setup! I double-click on the icon, it starts loading and then I immediately return to the desktop with an error message Debug or Close! I bought it and can't even play it! Disappointed! I've tried all compatibility modes but it was a failure! I patched this game but still a failure! I'm out of ideas, I don't know what to do anymore!

I think I have solved this problem because it works perfectly for me now! First, I installed both patches, namely 1.1 and 1.2! Be careful, for me it didn't work because you have to install them according to the version of NFS Pro Street! If this version is in English, take the English version patches and vice versa! Then you have the retail version or the EA store version! Choose the section of your choice! If you bought it, take the retail version! Then the biggest detail that made this game work for me is that I installed the Booster Pack found on the site www.nfsource.net! If you are running Vista, which is not the startup issue of this game, there's no need to set a compatibility mode! Also update your DirectX! Restart just in case, but normally even without restarting, the game works fine!

I just installed Pro Street on my PC and it doesn't work. It freezes on a black screen when I launch the game. Here are my specs:

CPU: Core 2 Duo 2.4 E4300.
GRAPHICS: NVIDIA GeForce 8600.
RAM: 2GB.
SCREEN: 19 INCH.

I solved my problem. I had downloaded a Spanish version and I had a program that allowed me to change the language to French. It was crashing during loading :)
So while waiting for a French version or, at worst, an English one, I'm playing in Spanish. It's a nightmare because I don't understand anything, but whatever xD
