Hi!
I'm having a problem with NFS Carbon on PC because I can play it despite my old setup (Athlon XP 2600 + ATI 9200), however, all the cutscenes lag like crazy which is quite annoying.
The issue isn't the game's graphics since it runs surprisingly well given my configuration.
It's all the cutscenes, even the one where the EA logo appears, that stutter a lot and it's very difficult to skip them.
For your information, I've updated my graphics drivers, DirectX, and patch 1.3 for NFS.
Does anyone have a solution to possibly view the videos and have them play correctly?

Maybe a codec issue.
Try downloading a good codec pack (e.g. K-Lite Codec Pack) and installing it to see.

---> the cinematics buff out completely.. and when I finally manage to skip them in the game, it goes fine afterward.. (the graphics etc..)
I've updated the drivers as well, the latest version of DirectX..
the codecs?? I don't really know if that's it..?? I tried changing them but it doesn't solve the problem..?

I created a copy of the original game, but the game doesn’t start even though the reader sees the game CD
and I can access the menu (play and all that stuff), but it won't launch the game. Is there a way to fix this?
