Margin settings with OpenOffice

Hello,

I am using the free office suite OpenOffice 2.3.1 on MAC OS X 10.4. I am very satisfied with it. It is definitely worth it compared to Microsoft's Office, even though, to my knowledge, there is currently no "grammar checker" available... One issue: the margin settings in the word processor. I can modify the margin values. No problem on the screen. But the printed output does not match the screen preview. The printed text is consistently cut off 3 cm from the bottom of the page, and the rest is pushed to the next page.
My printer is a HP Deskjet 460 with the latest driver.
Have other OpenOffice users experienced this problem? Do you have an explanation and a solution?

Some printers cannot print at the bottom of the page due to the paper movement mechanics.
To be checked with another software.

Thank you to Dubcek for his response.
Following my printing problem, I downloaded neoOffice, another free office suite based on OpenOffice that does not require X11 on MAC. It’s a really nice suite with all the usual features. My printing issue has been resolved. I don’t think my printer was the cause.
As for the spell checker suitable for OpenOffice, thanks for the tip. Do you know if it also exists for neoOffice, because I believe I will now stick with this office suite. It fulfills my needs perfectly.

Hi I don't know NeoOffice. Try a search on Google. If it's a Mac + OO problem, check the website http://fr.openoffice.org/, the problem might be known. See you!

same problem, the top margin is reduced to nothing, unless I push it back by 5 cm  me, I'm using a Canon IP4500  what's strange is that at first it worked very well!!!
