Hello,
I just bought an ultra-compact digital camcorder from the brand vd-tech.
I can't find any references in the manual, making it impossible to get information about this product online.
I believe that this same camcorder exists under different brands; however, I would like to know which company manufactures the
vd-tech brand.
Thank you for your replies

Hello, I just bought the VD 10 from VD Tech, and after numerous attempts, I can't zoom while filming. Every time I charge the battery, the date and time I had set according to the manual are no longer up to date. Sometimes, when the camcorder is on, the functions are unresponsive; I feel like this device is a bit of a mess. If anyone has answers to my concerns, thank you for responding; otherwise, I will return the device to the seller...
Good evening Guy,
I no longer work for the importing company...
However, I can try to help you to the best of my abilities...
First, I need to ask you a question:
-Is your product still under warranty?
*If "yes," make use of the warranty at the point of purchase, which will redirect you to IDCOM's customer service (the shipping costs will be at your expense... too bad). They will exchange your product for a new one.
If "no," then I fear you're out of luck, to put it politely....
However, I encourage you not to let this go, because even if it is a promotional item provided as a "gift" with your subscription, these products are still not great (to be honest, they are REALLY crappy).
Because if your product is barely 1 year and 2 months old, playing on the commercial aspect (although IDCOM doesn't care...)
Contact the point of purchase to get the phone number for customer service (otherwise, look in the Yellow Pages: IDCOM in Dardilly -69-) and try to see with the customer service manager (Dominique Zerbib) if they have a battery lying around to exchange with your old one.
Personally, without wanting to discourage you, I don't know this product, either it's too old or too new.
If it's too old, there's no doubt in my mind that you won't be able to find a replacement battery. If it's recent, then with diplomacy and playing on the commercial aspect, you can attempt the maneuver explained earlier.
Best regards
Psykanar

Hello: see the brand: E MAX as the unlocking code for the VD TECH dvd 602 and 603 players corresponds to that brand.
For your information, just in case:
1) eject
2) 2812
3) 9 (corresponds to multizones)
4) close

8 years? You're exaggerating. 12 years.
1€ a month? No: 1€ a day.
So what? If you lived in those countries, you'd be happy for your children if they had a job that paid 30€ a month for the pleasure of Europeans. Everything is relative.
In those countries, you can't just let the young people loaf around at home until they're 18. And you can't pay an employee 1000€ a month (even 200, I assure you!).
It’s about time you realized that you are a privileged person, living in a rich country, where people die at 80 after spending 15 years in retirement!
I just want to point out that in Senegal, Thailand, Myanmar, and the Central African Republic, people die of old age at 60, and they are paid 120 euros a month for 48 hours a week... But don't worry: all of this is nor-mal.

Hello elektrax,
Thank you for the contact details and commercial information about ID COM.
Personally, given my position, I would prefer to keep certain aspects regarding my former employer to myself.
However, your information isn't quite up to date; I would like to specify that IDCOM is currently focused much more (75% of the activity) on the import and distribution of LOWCOST multimedia products for BOULANGER, CARREFOUR, AUCHAN, etc. But also, as mentioned, what we call promotional products, e.g., LCD TVs, USB drives, portable DVD players, offered with a magazine subscription (Le Point, for example).
Finally, I don't want to prejudge the quality of this GPS, but personally, after working for IDCOM and seeing how the products are manufactured in China, I assure you that I prefer to pay the price rather than save money.
Because Sony or VD tech, there’s no comparison for me.
Both products will be made in China, of course, but it’s important to know that each designing or brand company imposes a specifications document to be scrupulously respected; factories are selected based on very strict criteria.
This is not the case with IDCOM, which selects factories based on the lowest unit cost for mass production. Consequently, a less beautiful and sturdy piece of furniture is made with used pallet boards, recovered sofa slats, and poorly maintained tools if it’s you who is making it (and you are not a carpenter, of course). For sure, the furniture will be inexpensive, but what will it be like?
Splinters, untreated wood... just a lot of problems.
Have your furniture made by someone competent, who has good tools that are well-maintained, with high-quality raw materials. Well, that’s the entire difference between a VD tech product, made by Chinese farmers expatriated to urban areas, in an old factory with tools as outdated as the walls.
So for gifts: is it better to go for the low price and the hassle?
Or a more substantial price and peace of mind?
Warm regards
Psykanar

It seems to me that this operation makes a change, but my Zone 1 DVDs are still unreadable. What do you think?
Thank you

I received a digital camcorder from VD Tech with my subscription to "Le Point" (the offer was tempting). I would like to be able to delete uninteresting photos as I go along. How do I do that? The manual is quite brief, and it's also not easy to scroll through them.
Thank you for your responses.

You need to go to the file section, once you're on the image, press the menu button and choose the option to delete a photo.
If you have a detailed French manual, could you send it to me? I also have a VD Tech camcorder, and I can't set the time and date. If you have any information, thank you in advance.

Hello everyone,
we are in a computerized world, the answer lies in your choice of places. Computing is not a science in itself but a little nothing that makes small wholes.

I didn't find my happiness here, but while browsing a little, I found the manufacturer and the brand name:

Hello Ktyarael,
I am pleased to tell you that you have found nothing!!!
VD Tech is not vedio-tech.
I challenge you to check this site and their related services for a VD Tech product.
I smile in advance.
To whom it may concern.
PS: they criticize, say false and unfounded things, but they post anonymously.
So gentlemen, you throw accusations but you don’t take responsibility???

I'm sorry to tell you, whether expensive or cheap, a device must work. If you work for Sony and want to turn people off, know that we are not in China and the devices are tested, especially since Carrefour sells them and has no desire to refund the money taken.
So your speeches that serve no purpose, you can keep them to yourself.
Don't you have anything better to do than to say nonsense?

Hello Vijo,
Another very brave internet user who completely stands by their words by posting ANONYMOUSLY!!!!!
I didn't say otherwise, a purchased product must work.
I don't work for Sony or any low-cost brand or for anyone else (except ALSTOM, but that's no longer the same field).
So, in addition to having nothing substantial to say to me, I find it very difficult to read you and understand your gibberish.
But I will make an effort.
"Just know we're not in China and the devices are tested"
We are not in China, but the VD Tech products (and others I've mentioned) are made in China, tested in China.
Have you ever visited a Chinese factory, Sir?
I have worked in several French electronics companies; we could almost eat off the floor, the staff is trained and competent, the tools are maintained and efficient.
In contrast, in China, it's quite different. I'm not saying all of China is like this, I'm saying that for many low-cost consumer products, the care in manufacturing is NOT there!!!
The tests? Yes, everything is tested; they only send products that work (I supervised quality control and end-of-line checks).
But if the care, precision, and skills are not there, you have products with "dry solder joints"
Dry solder joint: solder that may not make contact under certain ambient conditions, after a certain heating time, if it's too cold, a minimal shock that causes the solder to fail...
In short, so many "DEFECTS" that make these products of BAD QUALITY!!!!!
There you go, I'm not wasting any more time with you.
Good continuation.

urgent, does anyone have the user manual for the vd tech 10-2 camera in French, because I just bought it and there’s only the English version provided. It would be nice of you to send it to me quickly because I’m going on vacation in a week. Thanks in advance to everyone.
Hello, I recently received a 33cm VD Tech TV with the possibility of connecting a USB stick to it!!! Unfortunately, it turns out that it no longer reads my video files :/ I've tried several times to convert my movies but nothing works!! Can you please help me?

I just read your message because I want to know the origin of the vd tech brand, but before talking nonsense to someone who is trying to find out, re-read yourself and you will discover that the nonsense is in your text.
