Pb "no disc" with home players

Hello,
I have two home players, a Thomson DTH220 and a LG HDD recorder RH7800. It's common for them to display "no disc" on commercial audio discs.
I have the same problem with a portable DVD player FUSS (but for both audio and video discs).
What should I do?
Thank you
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 2.0.0.9

Hi, just so you know, a laser reading head has a relatively limited lifespan, but sometimes a little cleaning of the lens can give your equipment a second wind (especially if you say it's happening with new audio CDs...). Carefully disassemble it, clean with a cotton swab and a cleaning solution that's not too harsh! That's it, apart from that, there’s not much else to do. Considering the price of a new DVD player, it’s better to buy a new one than to send it for repair...

I assumed it wasn't the read head, because they read the DVDs, but not the audio CDs, and I don't feel like I'm using it that much anyway.
I'll still try to clean it.
Thank you

or if they are sub-brands, it's the same, low price = low quality ^^

FOR THE NO DISC MESSAGE, IT IS OFTEN EITHER DUE TO THE LASER READING LENS OR THE CONNECTION CABLE, SO FIRST, YOU NEED TO CHECK IF THE CABLE IS PROPERLY CONNECTED OR DAMAGED, AND THEN DO SOME CLEANING OF THE LENS, BUT BE CAREFUL BECAUSE IT IS SUSPENDED BY FINE ELECTRICAL WIRES.
