If someone could give me an address or a link to retrieve the manual for the QPS Profile 35 Divx, that would be nice.....

Otherwise, does anyone know how to make the card reader integrated into the hard drive work?

When I plug the hard drive into the PC, the card reader doesn't appear, is this normal?

Thanks in advance.... (I'm not using this hard drive for multimedia because very very few videos play correctly, and moreover, you can't update the codecs .....)

Good evening, I have one, it's a month old and works well, the driver installs itself, you open the folder and copy-paste it, if you have a problem let me know, but I didn't need the manual to use it.

Do you have any issues with audio files? Because on mine, I can't play certain files. I think it might be due to the codec for some, but for the others...
And as for all the TV settings? In the setup, the menus are not highlighted, so I can't access the preferences and slideshow modes, even though the connections are plugged in. What year is yours?

Hello, no, I no longer have the notice. I bought it a year and a half ago, and it plays 90% of audio and video files. Only a few videos don't work; it tells me the codec is not supported. My only problem is that it disconnects when I send files to it. I'm going to connect it to the back of my tower and remove the USB extension as advised.
    I will keep you posted.

I don't see which menu you're talking about on the TV; is it a menu from the QPS or from your TV?
As for the disconnection problems, they disappeared when I plugged the USB at the back of the tower instead of the front; the USB ports in the front and back might be different.

Il faut que vous formatiez vos DDM en FAT32.

    HELLO,

I have the QP3DX/KM hard drive from QPS as well, and I'm having trouble because the power adapter just failed on me; the conical plug is "unsoldered." I haven't been able to find the QPS website online! Do you have a lead on how I can find this adapter, which of course is out of warranty! Thank you in advance.

In my opinion, you can find it at any computer dealer or builder, but go with the model.

I just had the same problem with my adapter... and my computer store is telling me that they can't do anything because it's 12 volts. How did you manage??????

    Hello,

I'm also having trouble with my QPS 3 hard drive. It failed on me while I wasn't using it. I noticed that the power plug is all chewed up and it’s dead. So I'm on the lookout for a power plug; if anyone has one, let me know.

It might be that you left the USB connected and tried to connect it with the TV, which is not possible.
You need to disconnect the USB cable from your hard drive, connect the Peritel or another video interface cable, and reset your hard drive by pressing the "start" button. Of course, you need to switch to the correct video channel on the TV.

As for the case of the unrecognized hard drive, try connecting it to another computer and see if it is detected, and if not, then sorry, but you need to contact the brand's maintenance service. I had the same problem and the cause was that I shook the device too much. It's worth noting that an external hard drive can be temperamental... worse than a girl. lol.

If other computers recognize it, then the problem lies with the computer; the solution is to go to Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Computer Management / Disk Management.

There you will see all your hard drives and storage devices appear.

There, if you see your external hard drive, assign it a letter and it's all set.

Thanks to everyone and thanks to this site for teaching me lots of things.

Hi, I'm having the same problem as you. It was working very well 5 days ago and I can watch TV otherwise on the computer, no problem. If you have an answer, can you help me? Thank you.

      Hi Thierry,

For my hard drive, I saved my data on the computer.
Then I formatted the hard drive to FAT32.
I recreated a folder called "files", and inside that folder, I created folders for "movies", "photos", and "music".
Since then, it works on the computer and the TV.
Since I put it in FAT32, I was worried I wouldn't be able to send large files to the hard drive anymore, but so far no problems.

Here's what I propose, just keep me updated.
      SEE YOU SOON
      Mickey

Peux-tu m'aider ? Merci, à bientôt, Thierry.

      Hi Thierry,
Did you create a folder called files on the hard drive, and inside this folder, did you create a movies folder, a music folder, and a photos folder?
In each of these folders, you should put a movie in movies, a song in music, and a photo in photos, then reconnect everything to the TV; you should find all the folders.

Talk to you later, keep me posted.
