Hello,
I've installed the small rectangular dish from canalsat on my window. No issues, it's working.
But apparently, it's a bit visible and it's "bothering" some people.
Is it possible to install it behind a window, still aiming at the satellite (Wooden window with single glazing)? Will it work or will the glass and the wooden frames of the window cause interference?
The second solution if it doesn't work => Painting it. I've heard that you can use acrylic paint.
If anyone can help
Thank you
Gwen

Putting the small satellite dish behind a window risks reducing the quality of the signal and also requires keeping the shutters closed. It's important to know that the square dish receives signals less effectively than a classic round one, as not all frequencies come through. In overcast weather, we lose signal quality, so if it's behind a window, I fear it will act as a barrier. The solution of painting it isn't bad, as long as you choose a color that matches the building's facade. In some protected sites, municipalities require that dishes be the same color as the roof. Moreover, for the small square dish, acrylic paint should do the trick.
