Unable to watch videos online

Hello, when I try to watch a video online, nothing happens, I don’t see the video loading.

Can you help me resolve this issue?

    I forgot to mention that the problem does indeed come from the WMP player because I can watch videos on sites like YouTube where it's not this player, and I have the same issue when it comes to listening to music because it doesn't work on the NRJ site either.

    Hoping to find a solution to my problem.

    can you specify on which site, what type of video, ...

    please elaborate a bit more on your issue.

    I see that you have Firefox, which is great, but does it do the same thing on IE??

    I have the same problem with Internet Explorer; Windows Media Player is "ready," but when I press play, nothing happens.

    If you see the QuickTime Player logo with a question mark on it, then I think I have the same problem as you.

    I cannot uninstall WMP, but when trying to reinstall it, it tells me that a newer version is installed on my PC, even though I downloaded version 11.

    control panel -> add/remove programs -> add or remove Windows components.

    then reinstall WMP or install .wmv codecs.

    does your problem only occur with the web player WMP or with others as well?

    I have Vista and I can't find how to add or remove Windows components.
    For the other drives, I don't know because it's WMP that automatically opens on the web page.

    Reinstall WMP and it will update your codecs.

    If it's still not better, provide an example of the said video. ;)
