Does your manipulation also work with mpix351?
I followed the procedures from the Storex hotline for an update http://www.storex.fr/storex/download/MPIX3G/Instructions_maj_mpix3g.htm because I had files with weird names and question marks that I couldn't read.
Now I have nothing left on my TV (Storex menu...)
Thank you very much. -
Good evening! I have the same problem except that I have the mpix-351 and there is no video out button on the remote control. Thank you in advance!

Hello
I used my multimedia Storex mpix 357 in NTFS
It turns out that now I have 360 GB used out of the 480 available, and the files are visible on PC
but not at all when I want to use the television
Is this the cause and if yes, how can I switch to FAT32 without data loss, as the people at Storex suggested
Thank you -
Hello, on the Storex Mpix357
it's been over 2 years since I've had my Storex without much problem. Just one issue I can't solve. Connected to my PC, all my movies in the file appear fine and there's no playback problem. However, when connected to the television, they do not appear and it shows "root" on the screen.
What is my problem? I think it might be a remote control mishandling.
Thank you for your information.
Also, how do I sort the different files into "video", "music", "photo", and "file"? -
We have encountered similar issues with this hard drive. Wouldn't a goodwill gesture be a way to compensate for all these concerns that are ruining life? Regards

Good evening,
like some of you, I encountered problems with my mpix 357 regarding the transfer of files from the PC to the mpix (the reverse works very well), the transfer was extremely slow or even impossible (error: file too long).
Here is my solution which requires disassembling the mpix (be careful about the warranty, a screw is hidden under a sticker). For my part, my product was no longer under warranty...
You need to remove the hard drive from its multimedia case to connect it to the PC (PC turned off, of course) using the SATA connections. Restart the PC, and normally the hard drive is not only recognized but the transfer problem is also resolved. All that’s left is to reassemble it in its case once the transfer is complete.
I hope this helps you in your problem-solving approach. You might also consider investing in a new multimedia case without a hard drive to install the one present in your Storex case.
For any additional information, here's my email...

PS: The mpix works very well in multimedia mode (connected to TV) -

Merci.
