Hello,
I just got a Samsung SGH-J600 mobile... after 7 years with a Nokia 3310, it's quite a change lol
I have a blue icon "voicemail" that stays displayed even though I have no new messages..

How do I remove this icon... I can't find anything, and it's annoying.. I see no options!
I turned it off and on again and it still doesn't work!

There you go
Thanks, if you can help me
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

I had the same issue with a Samsung S3. All you need to do is call yourself, leave a message, listen to it, and then delete it, and the icon will disappear.

I had this problem and I just solved it. Just press and hold the notification. "App Information" will appear. Click on it. Wait a moment (it's calculating) then press "clear data". And there you go!

I had the same problem with a SG4, I called, left a message, you listen to it completely, you delete it and the icon disappears!

Same thing it works: I left myself a message to listen to it and delete it.

      Hello
for me the trick of leaving a message to myself didn’t work, but I continuously pressed on the voicemail notification. I pressed on App Info, and since "force stop" wasn’t selectable, I clicked on "clear data," and the icon finally disappeared.
