Hello, using Mod Organizer 2 for Skyrim, I was looking for the appdata folder in C:\Users\appdata... but I couldn't find it, so I tried changing permissions to see hidden files and I messed up, I no longer have access to anything, I can't find C:\Users or local etc... and I also have no icons on the desktop ^^, if someone could kindly help me, thank you very much :)

    Hi,

have you heard about backups or restoring to a previous date?

    the restore points.

And there you go, there you go, there we go ....

But misery, how annoying the line spacing is!!

    Good evening,

Probably your NETUSER.DAT profile is corrupted.

Do you have the ability to create a new administrator account?

An administrator account locally, without going through Microsoft via the Control Panel.

I managed to create an administrator account locally but it changes nothing, no C:\Users folder. I just checked the "hidden" box in the properties of the "Users" folder and clicked Apply, hoping to see hidden folders and find the "AppData" and in the end I lost everything :/. I don’t think I’m on a temporary profile, everything was fine until this error.

In the "Users" folder the new account name must appear, do not change anything..

In AppData there is nothing to modify either.

        Hello,

You're welcome, the main thing is that it works. Yes, sometimes it is simpler and faster to reinstall than to search for a solution for hours or even days; starting from a clean slate is good.

Prefer not to touch the administrator account or profile unless there is a valid reason.

        Have a nice day.

If OK, please mark as resolved.
