Hello,

How to prevent Firefox 152 from always asking whether we accept cookies or not when opening a site?

I thought it was due to one or more extensions that I disabled one by one and re-enabled since it had nothing to do with it.

So how do I remove these prompts? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Thanks for your reply but it's not really what I'm looking for; I'm rather looking for Firefox on computer.

This extension is for Firefox on Windows to auto-click yes on cookie usage prompts on our behalf.

It doesn’t work with 100% of sites, but it helps me avoid those prompts in general.

I don't use Windows as you can see at the bottom of my post.

I’ve never tested with a MAC, but I’m not in a position to test, I don’t have one.

But Firefox for MAC doesn’t accept the same extensions?

      Hello,

I ran the guinea pig with my virtual machine (Sequoia) which I only use when a tooth falls out, so I had to perform an update of Firefox across several versions.

The famous extension installs there without any problem.

We can optionally use strict protection if we want to block third-party cookies.

Now, the extension hides the misery under the rug, it tends to accept without asking until you manually clear the Cookies or automatically at each shutdown, and it does not distinguish those we want to accept or not in the preferences.

I know well that Cookies only fulfill their role at the next login (if they are not purged) but still...

I prefer to proceed manually without the extension, it’s not a disaster to check a box; also note since we’re talking about extensions that those handling scripts (I haven’t checked if NoScript is available on Mac) will have the side effect that the corresponding Cookies will not be called, potentially reducing their number but not necessarily to zero since on some sites full navigation without accepting at least one Cookie is impossible.
