Hello, the storage on my Oppo A54 64.00GB phone is at 58.8GB; I don't know how to clear it, I always put things in the trash though. Can you help me? Thanks

Hello,

If it's like the A76 (but with 128 GB of storage), there's a cleaning feature through the Phone Manager, but it's not always effective, especially against the Other storage, which can contain not only app caches, which can sometimes but not always be cleared in each app.

Otherwise, you can always get an SD card (but that will force you to uninstall and reinstall apps).

And there are no miracles: uninstall unnecessary apps, delete or back up elsewhere what takes up space, potential downloads, email attachments, photos if there are many, music, videos (including those received via WhatsApp and similar)...

For gamers, game data are excellent candidates for space saturation.

Thank you for your reply; I do play sometimes, how can I clear this game data? I don't know where everything I put in the trash goes, is that enough or is there another method to delete it permanently?

As for games, I don't know, I don't play.

Any progression data is of course stored; we might be able to delete it by clearing the app's cache if that's possible, but this will likely reset the game.

It's often said that they can persist even after uninstalling the game (persistence of "other" storage that can occur in privileged areas of the phone inaccessible except via a root explorer), in which case the only solution is a factory reset, which means losing everything that hasn't been saved with cloning software on a computer.
