Hello!

After 2 years of playing dead, I was finally forced to switch to the new Canal decoder. I installed a 5TB hard drive, one of my own, and I'm recording. But it's impossible to read this hard drive on a PC, thus making it impossible to edit the videos. Does anyone have a solution?

    Hello,

    The content must only be accessed through the Player.

    You are not allowed to edit them without the explicit permission of Canal+

     so it is impossible to edit the videos

    8.2.1. Use of the Player

    Any backup or download, by any means or medium, of all or part of the content is expressly prohibited without the prior written permission of CANAL+.
    Editing, making available to the public, or communicating to the public software, an application, a website, etc. that allows bypassing the normal use of the Player is not authorized.

        Hello,

        This is not unacceptable. It's the name of the game with films that are protected by DRM.
        This process is not unique to Canal +.
        Thus, I can record films broadcast by Free, but some can only be played on the television. They are non-copyable and non-editable.
        Unprotected films can be copied without any issues.
