Hello,

New tape has replaced Google Chrome on the opening page in Windows 11 and I can't find any option in the menus to remove it.

Thank you to anyone who can help me.

I think it is indeed that New Tab!

I tried Reanimator, it found 3 or 4 possible anomalies, I don't know enough to delete these anomalies.

The New Tab that has overlapped on Google may not be a virus but simply an application?

New tab is probably just a new tab in Google Chrome, but said in English I don't know why,

If you can take Reanimator screenshots with GreenShot, let's see what it's about.

Ideally with the Filter Set button or Inspection Mode and Filter Set >
"Display All but Exclude Signed by Microsoft/Google/Greati

It shows more.

Thanks to Fabul and MPMP10, everything is back in order; my grandson, who happened to be passing by, took less than 3 minutes to eliminate New tape, which turned out to be Yahoo.

His trick was to set Google as the default priority in Google.

Simple, but one still needs to know how to do it.

In any case, thank you for your concern.

I also think that it's a new tab in Google Chrome; I have no idea where I could have checked to have this tab installed.

The unfortunate thing is that when I go back to Google, I no longer have the icons that allowed me to immediately access, for example, my bank's website; everything has disappeared, and I have to re-enter the passwords.

Starting tomorrow, I will try to respond to your request regarding Reanimator.

This morning Reanimator marks everything in green, but I don’t know English well enough to use it properly.

New tape is still on the opening page.

On Windows 11, I can’t find the option to check the box that allows Google to be prioritized.

In practice, you get used to Reanimator, marking the new known elements in green as it detects new good things; if they are bad, we delete them.

Even though it was solved simply.
