Video games and USB drive

Hello, I downloaded video games from websites, sometimes I downloaded the entire site, I put them on a USB stick and my question was whether if I connect my USB stick to another computer, will I be able to install my games? Thank you for your information.

    Hello.

    The question is not very clear. A video game is software like any other. If you install it on a PC, you need to have the installation program (setup, executable, etc.). Copying a "website" to a USB drive will not result in a functional game; it will only give you unusable web page files.

    There are 2 cases:

    1. If you have legally downloaded a game, you must go through the relevant platform to install it on another computer, while respecting the license.

    2. If it’s a portable game, then you can run it directly from the USB drive, but with limited performance.

    BUT: If the sites you mentioned offer illegal downloads, be aware that this is piracy. In this case, you will not find help here: it is prohibited by law and against the forum rules.

    Hello,

    The question doesn't really make sense; a game is just software like any other, notwithstanding the requirement that it may only be used via an online connection.

    A downloaded executable can be installed on any computer, provided that any licensing rights are respected, and not necessarily simultaneously on several.

    Unless it's portable, with the bottleneck being the execution speed of a USB key and the possibility or not of creating a Live USB, we go back to the previous paragraph.

      Hello,

      The question makes even less sense given that it only takes a trial to confirm, knowing that without understanding the certainty and legality of the sites in question, it is impossible to give an opinion applicable to all these unidentified virtual objects.

      At best, one can say that if the configuration is equal to or greater than, it is possible that most of them work.

      Furthermore, for a member who has been developing games under complex systems (C, Unity) for over 10 years, it is astounding to see such a basic question asked, unless there has been a complete reset of the accumulated knowledge.
