Unable to play a Blu-ray on a Panasonic DVD player purchased in 2011

    Hello, hello,

    Does this player have the Blu Ray function already?

    If, for example, your model is from the DMP-BDT series, then yes, it can play regular Blu Ray discs.

    However, it will not be able to play 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays that came later.

    You should check the front or back of your player if it mentions Blu-ray Disc; that would be a good sign.

    You can also look for the model number (e.g. DMP-BDT110) and check the disc compatibility chart on the Panasonic website.
