Although you haven't explained why you want to update your TV, I think the issue you're facing might be a malfunction of the integrated applications, such as Netflix or any similar app that is no longer up to date.     Actually, when I try to turn on my TV, it doesn't turn on but the button blinks white and I thought it was a software update issue but I'm not sure.

      It is probably an issue with the power supply/platine that needs to be checked and replaced if necessary.
