    Hello,

    By default, stories are designed to be automatically deleted 24 hours after being viewed, but this can be changed in the settings.

    If your friend's story is immediately deleted after being viewed, it is possible that she decided to delete it manually. This removes it from Snapchat's servers and from the device of the recipient(s).
