Kobo Clara not connecting to Wi-Fi anymore

Hello,

Yesterday, my Kobo Clara e-reader stopped working.
I tried restarting it several times, but nothing worked; it just wouldn't respond.
After holding down the power button for a long time, it suggested a reset. So, I selected the language, and then it asked to connect to Wi-Fi, but at that point, nothing happened; it couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi (which is working, of course).
I received the message "unable to connect".
I unplugged the router and did all the logical operations I could think of, but nothing works....
Help!

Refer to the previous steps and if the problem persists, try resetting it.

Hello,

I have exactly the same problem. I'm stuck at the reset due to being unable to connect to the wifi.

I wanted to try connecting it to the PC via cable, but it requires the Kobo Desktop app, which apparently is no longer available.

Were you able to unblock your e-reader?

I managed to download the software here: https://rakuten-kobo.fr.uptodown.com/windows/telecharger and to reset my Kobo. If this can help.
