Hello,

Having a setup from 2019, I'm now wondering if it can make the jump to Windows 11 since I don't have the Trusted Platform Module.

Is it possible to bypass and/or perform some manipulation to obtain it so that I can continue to enjoy my setup on Windows 11?

    Hello,

    In addition to the links above, before attempting to upgrade to Windows 11, make sure that your Windows 10 is installed on a GPT format disk.

    Indeed, while Windows 10 could be installed on a MBR format disk, that is no longer the case for Windows 11.

      Hello,

      It's just a twisted requirement from Microsoft.

      Except for disks larger than 2 TB or wanting to have more than 4 primary partitions (but for what purpose), the average user doesn’t care whether the partition table is MBR or GPT and having to convert it where the risk of data loss is never formally excluded.
