Hello,

I am looking to remove the frame around the images (see attached image). I tried cropping them and then removing the border (by selecting "none" in the options), but that doesn't help. Could you please tell me how to get rid of these frames/lines that bother me a lot? I am using the latest version of Libre Office.

Thank you in advance

    Hello

Are the frames always visible in the preview before printing or when exporting to PDF?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your response.

Indeed, they are no longer visible in the preview before printing or in the PDF export. Let's hope that is also the case if I need to share the document in ODT format.

    Have a great day!

    Hello,

This image frame is generated by LibreOffice in editing mode.

Exit editing mode by pressing Ctrl + Shift + M and the frame will disappear (you will then be in read-only mode).

This frame is also not visible if you open the .odt file with Word when you export it as a PDF.

All of this is to say that the frame is not part of the saved document.

To remove this frame that bothers you, go to Tools > Options > LibreOffice > User Interface Colors and uncheck Text Boundary.
    Confirm by clicking OK.

But of course, this won't have any effect if you send the file to someone who hasn't done this little manipulation!

What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.
