Hello,
I ordered a Crit-Air sticker a few weeks ago via this site https://www.annuaire-mairie.fr/vignette-crit-air.html and apart from promises via WhatsApp (+33767175747), I have received nothing yet!
Could you PLEASE tell me whether this site is a legitimate official French site or if I’ve been scammed? Indeed, I paid €36 for this sticker, while it is about €5 on the government site.

I went through the Lille site and that’s the link I found there.
I don’t know what is meant by “city site,” assuming it even refers to the official one.
Many publish paper versions or online versions of “information” documents that serve as a pretext to collect advertising revenue whose sources I don’t know to what extent are checked.
Likewise for the flyers flooding mailboxes presenting as “recommended” services a whole host of professionals and sometimes only published by these professionals, of whom plumbers are often included whom I would not call for anything in the world.

Already at 3 euros, many motorists skip it because apart from the municipalities qualified by Robert Ménard as "eco-terrorists" (Lyon), the risk of getting fined 68€ is low, so at 36€...
The question is on the hot seat because a very recent vote in a committee of the National Assembly (which is only part of the legislative process) decided to abolish ZFE because they would not be socially just for the poorest.
Apart from Crit'Air, the potential offender cares even less since a number of older vehicles are likely to be fined or immobilized for other technical reasons related to their condition.

Completely agree.
The Crit’Air will not in any way resolve the socio-professional consequences for users of “less virtuous” vehicles: small craftsmen, delivery people, or ordinary citizens whose means do not allow the purchase of a “virtuous” vehicle.
They are starting to be heard, supported by the commercial fabric of many cities whose city centers are increasingly deserted by customers.

To put the subject back into perspective... This scam is as old as Crit'air stickers, which, it must be recalled, were introduced to avoid alternating traffic on pollution peak days... the latter blocking without distinctions related to each vehicle's emissions... only based on the even or odd license plate number...
In short, it was still more "logical" to base it on measurable elements...
Nevertheless, as soon as they were made mandatory, as usual, a lot of scoundrels jumped on the customary gullibility of internet users who favor the "good advice" of their search engine, steering them toward sites more or less shady....
The less calamitous ones being content with selling six or seven times the price of a sticker that they acquired from the official site by entering the license plate number in the client's name.... The others (the most numerous...) taking the opportunity to collect all sorts of information and use it at their discretion for their dishonesty...
When ZFEs were (laboriously) put in place, quite logically Crit'air stickers also became the means to distinguish who can drive... or not... And of course this was again brought to the forefront (of the web...) the crappy sites....
Then, for the substance... someday city dwellers will have to face up to their wishes... On one hand they scream about abomination when the air is unbreathable... and on the other they want to continue to use their trash-mobile!
I’m well aware that these changes will be painful... there are nonetheless quite a few aids for the transition... not to mention all the exemptions more or less complete...
But "good"—besides the ever more fashionable eco-bashing—one must not forget the old principle of "NIMBY" (not in my backyard) dating back at least to the 1970s... where everyone agrees to fight environmental problems, provided that the measures taken do not affect them personally....

And in addition to Xileh’s reframe but regarding only the site www.annuaire-mairie.fr, this one also acts with identity cards that it charges for even though they are free and passports that it charges much more than what it would cost by going through the official site.
Unfortunately this site is very well ranked in Google when you search for these identity documents.

Indeed, this is useful additional information to my point... which confirms once again that the slogan "Google is your friend".... (*) is increasingly inappropriate....
Using search engines that are less associated with "ads & money"... like Qwant helps avoid—at least in the "shop window"—these particularly harmful propositions....
(*) NB... I know well that this sentence is actually a politically correct phrasing to say: "deal with it!".... but applied to the context, it is not lacking in irony...
