Hello,

I just acquired a Gigaset AS690A duo with answering machine.

My correspondent can leave me a message, but I can only retrieve it by calling 661 from my Bouygues Bbox.

On my landline answering machine, I have no recorded messages??

Do you have any advice on what I should do so that messages are recorded on my phone's answering machine?

Thank you in advance for your responses.

    Hello,

The box and the phone can record messages. For the latter to be active, you need to deactivate the answering machine on your Bouygues subscription, or set the number of rings to the highest possible, and on the phone set a number of rings lower than that of the box.

    Hello,

The voicemail systems of operators generally activate after 5 rings, so you need to set your answering machine to trigger after 4 rings.

Disabling Bouygues voicemail means losing all traces of messages if, by chance, there is a failure in the power supply or your box.
