Bluetooth AZERTY keyboard

Hello,
I was recently given an Android tablet with a bluetooth keyboard. But I can't use it in AZERTY...
I tried the ALT+SHIFT method: failure.
I checked my settings/configuration/system/keyboard/physical keyboard, everything is set to French only but nothing works, the keyboard remains in QWERTY.
Note: when I connect it to my smartphone, it works fine in AZERTY, so it's the configuration of my tablet that is messed up. But I have no idea what to change... I've never put English in the configurations, I've tried all the available French keyboards (Swiss, Canadian, etc) but still nothing works, this darn keyboard insists on staying in QWERTY. Any tips?
Keyboard brand: none visible (it's even just called "bluetooth keyboard" in the devices list)
Tablet brand: PIXPEAK L211-EEA running Android 14
Thank you very much ????

I am experiencing exactly the same issue with a RUSHAR tablet that I recently purchased, which is identical to the PIXPEAK tablets. I also think it has to do with a settings issue with ANDROID 14 on the tablet. If we read the reviews on AMAZON, some mention the use of the keyboard in AZERTY, but is it on ANDROID 13 or ANDROID 14? Because these tablets exist with both versions of ANDROID.
I asked the manufacturer's technical support, and they replied that it is not possible to use the Bluetooth keyboard in AZERTY. I asked them why they provided the AZERTY LAYOUT with the keyboard, and they simply answered that it was for aesthetics!!! I'm not joking! Shameful...
I contacted AMAZON to explain the problem, and they only offered to refund me for the tablet and possibly to buy the same model from another brand. Now I know that it doesn't work with PIXPEAK either :)

Great... People seemed pretty happy in the comments, I didn't suspect anything! Since it's a gift, I doubt I'll be able to return it :/
I'll try to connect a keyboard that is originally AZERTY, we'll see how it goes. Otherwise, for what it's worth, I'll try to root it and force the installation of Android 15.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work either with a native AZERTY keyboard; I forgot to mention that. The problem really comes from ANDROID 14.
I take this opportunity to suggest that for those experiencing issues with unexpected internet disconnection via WIFI, just try disconnecting Bluetooth during your internet browsing sessions; it will work much better...
