Hello,

I just purchased a new computer and I ordered Office 2024 Professional online. I received the download file and the activation key.

I tried to install Office 2024, but Microsoft asked me to uninstall the trial version of 365 and One Note. I did that. However, when I click on "Install", the following windows appear:

"Extracting file To: / Windows/System 32 folder

Extracting from Office_2024_FR_64 Bits.exe"

"The following file exists

Package / ClickTo Run-Bat

Would you like to replace the existing file."

If I click "Yes", the installation starts then stops and freezes.

Can you help me install this package using simple terms because I don't know anything about computers (I am an old lady of 77 years), but I need Office to manage my association.

    Hello @Valmax19 StatusMember.

    Use the Microsoft utility designed for this purpose, see this page paragraph Uninstall Microsoft 365 or Office with the uninstall troubleshooting tool.

    Hello and thank you for your response. I have already uninstalled 365 at Microsoft’s request by going to the programs in the control panel, but the problem remains unsolved. I cannot install Office 2024, which is in my downloads.

    Hello and thank you for your response. I was finally able to install Office 2024 by clicking on "Yes to all" to the question "would you like to replace the file".

    Everything works perfectly.
