Unable to copy Minecraft Launcher to my desktop!

Hello,
I recently got a new laptop on which I installed Minecraft, and I'm running Windows 11. My problem is as follows: I would like to copy the Minecraft Launcher to my desktop, but I simply cannot do it. When I open the start menu and drag the Minecraft Launcher to my desktop, I can see the small "copy" icon appearing in the corner of the logo, but when I release the mouse button, nothing happens; the launcher refuses to copy. I have tried accessing the game files to retrieve the launcher, but when I attempt to copy it or do anything, it tells me that I need administrator rights. Please help me; I’m out of ideas on what to do.
Thank you for your responses.

Hello,
You should not choose "Copy" but "Create a shortcut" and it will create a shortcut on the desktop... When in use, you double-click it and it launches the program in question.
It requires a Microsoft account to log in... and also to be up to date.
Thank you for your response, but why don't they include the creation of a desktop icon in the installation process? It would be much simpler!
Hi,
It is not up to us to ask, but to the Publisher.
The default Minecraft Java version is located in the Appdata folder instead of Program Files like all other programs.
Hello,
Thank you for your response, but I have another problem. I can't seem to find the launcher; the game was installed in the following path:
Windows C:/XboxGames
But when I create the shortcut and browse this path, only the "Games save" folder appears. The only place I can find Minecraft Launcher is in the Start menu.
Hello,
And so what?
If it's in the Start menu, it's even simpler: right-click, send to, desktop.
Hello,
I don't have the "send to" option.
