Convert an .exe video to .mp4

Hello,
For a birthday, I used the little software "faststone", very simple, to create a slideshow of photos set to music. A slideshow, you know!
After that, I wanted to save this slideshow with the same software. Unfortunately, the result, which isn't bad by the way, is a .exe file. I would like to know how to convert it to MP4.
I also tried using Photos from Windows and I couldn't figure it out.
Any advice from someone?
Thanks in advance

Hello, here is a tutorial on YouTube for "photo" if you have any other questions?
To capture a video file, you can use screen capture software for live streaming.

Hello,
I am familiar with FastStone, and indeed, its .exe save format can be practical but not always compatible with all devices.
To convert your slideshow to MP4, here are two simple solutions:- Record your screen while playing the .exe You can use video screen capture software like OBS Studio (free) or Camtasia (paid but with a free trial). Just launch the .exe, play it in full screen, and capture the video while enabling the system audio. You will thus obtain an MP4 file.
- Redo your slideshow in another software
If you don’t mind starting from a different base, you can try:
1. Windows Photos: by creating an "automatic video" or a manual slideshow.
2. Shotcut or DaVinci Resolve (both free): they allow you to drag and drop your photos, add music, and export directly to MP4.
Personally, I got a good result with the screen capture method; it's quick and efficient!
Good luck, keep us updated if it works for you! ????
