No system disk or disk error

Hello,

I forgot the password to my PC so I reset it. After the reset, it restarted and displayed a blue screen saying (your computer encountered a problem during startup and needs to restart, we're collecting information for the restart. <I can't remember what else...>

After some time, I entered the BIOS settings and tinkered with some things, but nothing happened. Then I came across the hard drive wipe option, clicked it, and there was a download. I waited until it reached 0.01% and then I canceled it. When I restarted the computer, it displayed "non-system disk or disk error."

What should I do!?! Please help me!!

PC: HP Compaq 6530b

    Hello,

Probably by avoiding to click compulsively anywhere.

The message indicates that the BIOS no longer has access to the disk or that the sudden shutdown has corrupted it.

Restart into the BIOS, restore the default values while ensuring that the boot order prioritizes a USB drive.

If it's not a laptop with a non-removable battery (if it is, remove it), force the startup into recovery by cutting power 3 times in a row and resetting again if possible.

If not, boot from a Windows installation USB and reinstall Windows.

Basically, I need to reset the BIOS settings to default and then restart the PC 3 times?!

        Hello

Don't click compulsively on your PC.

But you aren't following the tutorials. You shouldn't make shortcuts when an important line is marked.

but then preserving it means that you can't skip putting the boot order priority back with the USB key at the beginning of the list if you want to boot from a USB key.

If you need to boot from the system drive, you have to restore the boot order priority with the system drive at the top of the list.

I have already done this operation and it doesn't work!!

I am forced to use a Windows installation key.
