Hello.

I tried to install Adobe Acrobat on my PC (Windows 10 Pro - 32 Bit) from their official website.

Twice, the same thing happened: the download goes smoothly, but after that, the installation doesn't show up and, indeed, I can't find this software on my PC.

Did I miss a step somewhere???

Thank you for your help.

    Hello,

Which version of Adobe Acrobat did you download? ... 32 or 64 bits?

But following your advice, I did a bit more digging and I noticed that on the download site, it was indicated in small print: "more download options" and there, I could choose the "64-bit" version or the other unspecified one. I downloaded the latter and... it works!!!

      Thanks again!

Hello Panth33ra, and thank you for your response.

In fact, Adobe does not offer a choice and does not indicate whether the software is for 32 or 64 bits.

I also noted that, although the download indicates it has been completed at 100%, it does not appear in my downloads folder...

      Hello,

If it's Reader (the rest is paid and subscription-based), the link from Adobe doesn't download and therefore doesn't install the software, only its installer, a file Reader_fr_install.exe of just 1.5 MB that you need to find in your downloads folder and it is on this file that you need to click to install.

As a workaround, I always choose my desktop as the download folder, which I archive or delete: I’m sure not to miss out on hundreds of files accumulated in the downloads folder and sure to see them.

Hello Brucine, and thank you for your reply.

Actually, yes, the download link does indeed include the Reader software as well. At least, that’s what is stated during the download. And for me, I had nothing.

But following Panth33ra's previous response, I dug a bit deeper into my investigation and realized that on the download site, it was mentioned in small print: "more download options" and there, I could choose the "64-bit" version or the other unspecified one. I downloaded the latter and... it works!!!

        Thanks again!
