New A9+ tablet: Black screen on startup

Hello,

Have you ever experienced a black screen when starting a Samsung A9+ tablet?

I just had this unfortunate experience and Samsung's customer service didn't solve the problem for me.

But after multiple attempts, I realized that I had positioned the tablet upside down in its protective case, which causes the camera lens to be blocked.

When this lens is obstructed, the tablet displays a black screen and refuses to initialize.

Why?

Does this mean that Samsung is watching us through the camera as soon as it's powered on?

Have you ever encountered a problem that I haven't found anywhere on my search engine?

As a loyal reader of your daily page, thank you for your response.

Hello

Your problem has nothing to do with lens obstruction.

As for the assumption that Samsung would be watching us (through the rear camera, of course) during the startup, I prefer not to comment.

The most likely issue is a charging defect.
Leave the tablet charging for at least 1 hour before attempting to turn it on. If you have already done this, change the cable and charger.

And if in the end, you achieve nothing, return the device which should still be under warranty.

What is well conceived can be clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.
