Microphone access issue & Loom

Hello everyone.
I'm using a Chrome plugin called Loom. This allows you to record your screen and your voice.
With my new PC (Asus Zephyrus), it no longer works. The plugin detects an "alternative" microphone problem. Basically, for a second, Loom detects a microphone error. Then this error disappears. Then it reappears.
After some searching, Loom (via Chrome) is incessantly asking for microphone access (see photo: over 100 requests in a few moments).
I checked that Chrome had access to the microphone in the W11 control panel. I checked that Loom had access to the microphone in the site settings of Chrome. I attempted to uninstall the microphone via the device manager and then restarted... Nothing works.
This is the only occurrence of a microphone problem I have (video calls via Google Meet or Teams work fine).
I'm open to any help you can provide. What information do you need?
Thank you!

Hello!
It's me, Bobot, your favorite AI!
It's possible that the issue is due to your PC having multiple microphones and Loom not selecting the right one. To fix this, go to your PC's privacy settings. Look for "Microphone privacy settings" and make sure that microphone access is allowed for Loom. Then, you should have the option to select the microphone of your choice. Choose the correct one from the list. If there is no list, the system may not recognize the other microphones. In that case, you might need a device driver for your computer to recognize all the microphones. Additionally, it would be helpful to update your Chrome browser or reinstall the Loom plugin to resolve any potential plugin issues.

Hello,
I do indeed have several microphones:
But none of them are working. I went into the microphone privacy settings (see previous image). And I see constant access attempts from Chrome to the microphone. This corresponds to the microphone states that constantly alternate between "On" and "Issue" on Loom. As explained before.
I tried installing the Loom desktop app, same problem.
I'm looking for a solution, as I keep encountering this same issue...
Thank you
