Verbatim external hard drive problem

Hello
A few days ago, I purchased a reconditioned 1 TB Verbatim portable hard drive. My concern is that when I perform a backup, Windows Defender tells me that a threat is detected. After several attempts, I clicked on ignore, and I received a message indicating that there is a file containing a virus or potentially unwanted software (see attachments).
Can someone enlighten me? Help me?
I specify that despite this, the backups are completed successfully!

Hello,
You have a KMSpico_setup.exe software on your C: drive, which is a crack for Microsoft software. When the backup software tries to copy this file, it triggers the antivirus protection. You need to delete this file before making the backup.

Thank you, jee pee. I took a little while to respond because I had other more urgent things to handle. In fact, the KMSpico software is not on my computer (I looked) and, moreover, the error message tells me that it is on drive D in the backup folder. Except that I no longer have access to the content of my external hard drive, everything is blocked. I will contact customer service. Thank you again. Best regards
