Hello, the SIM card tray of my Huawei P30 Lite has broken when I pushed it; only the top part has come out, and it's broken. How do I remove the rest of the SIM card tray?

Hello,
Is it a drawer for two SIM cards..?? Or just one..?
And how many cards are inside..?
Maybe a micro SD as well..?

Hello, this is a drawer with two cards but only one card inside for now.

OK, and no room for a memory card..?
The idea would be to slide something inside and catch the empty SIM card slot, then pull it out to extract the carcass.. without breaking the contact pins of the SIM... otherwise, it’s useless and the smartphone will be dead...
It would be good to know if the SIM card that's inside is in the first slot or in the second, the one furthest back.
For example, I’m thinking of making a tool with a sewing pin, thin enough, made of steel, you should be able to slide it between the two, make a quarter turn, so it catches, and then pull gently... I can take a photo this afternoon, because I’ve already done it...
To make the tool, you need to heat the tip of the pin to a blue color, let it cool slowly, and bend the tip of the pin over a short length (0.5 mm). Then dip the metal... heat it to red... and quickly plunge it into cold water.
Be careful, it becomes brittle, you might have to try several times.
The other solution is based on glue... to be continued

Hello,
When I powered on my Samsung A23, I was surprised by the extreme thinness and therefore fragility of the dual SIM card tray. I took the utmost care to insert the micro-SIM and then slide the tray into its slot, hoping not to have to remove it too often.
I understand that one might prefer to try to solve this issue without involving customer service, but I'm not sure that using a "makeshift" tool won't make things worse if the remaining part of the drawer is stuck in its housing.
The fact is that there is no procedure that is 100% sure for a broken "internal" part problem. The same goes for example for a broken mini-jack headphone jack.
I will inquire about resolving this type of issue (and its cost) with a competent service.

All of that is true, I've noticed it too.
Here are the photos of the tools I was talking about this morning, it's the "Forged" hook pin, the other one is for comparison.

The use involves sliding it flat between the two, up to the depth measured corresponding to the slot... then turning it a quarter turn so it fits into a slot in the drawer... and then, we try to pull it out, to extract the piece... Which will no longer be usable... That's my theory, which is not 100% certain.
-- Otherwise, you need to open this phone to reach the drawer, and extract the remnants, including the SIM card... and close it... and check that the smartphone still works.
-- The unspoken goal of the request for help is to do it yourself and pay nothing... For customer service on an operation of this kind...?? I'll refrain from making unpleasant remarks... But I'm not convinced of the result..!!

I share the opinion regarding customer service. After all, it depends on the skill that Mike2024 feels capable of, knowing that the other factor is the condition of the card and the support in the docking slot.
The method detailed indeed constitutes the most suitable possibility without dismantling the device.
Good evening.
