Hello, today when I got home I discovered that my HP Elite Book won't turn on anymore. I tried charging it and it's been an hour and it still hasn't turned on; the only thing it does is that the power button lights up but turns off immediately to give way to the orange and white blinking of the lightning symbol. I beg you to help me please, on Friday I have a language oral presentation and my final exam presentation in a few weeks and my slides are on it, I can't tell my mother please.

If your HP Elite Book won't turn on and the battery indicator is flashing orange and white, it may indicate either a battery issue or a problem with the power adapter.
Here are some steps to try to resolve the issue:
1. Unplug the power adapter and remove the battery from the laptop.
2. Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to completely reset the computer.
3. Plug the power adapter back in without reinserting the battery to see if the computer can turn on using only the power from the adapter.
If the computer turns on, this means the battery may be faulty. If that’s the case, you might need to replace it.
If the computer still doesn’t turn on, try another charger if you have one handy. If that still doesn't work, it's possible the problem is with your computer's motherboard.
Remember to regularly back up your important data to avoid any loss. You might also consider using an online storage service like Google Drive or Dropbox to keep your presentations for your oral exam.
